Tom Stuart-Smith

Tom Stuart-Smith is a landscape architect who works on a wide range of projects from small private gardens to large parks both in the UK and overseas. Recent projects include the masterplan for RHS Bridgewater, the Hepworth Wakefield Garden and the lead design on the rewilded garden at Knepp. He runs a design studio with a team of 20 from next to his home in Hertfordshire.  He is a trustee of the garden museum and was awarded an OBE in 2023. He is a Vice- President of the Royal Horticultural Society. With his wife Sue he recently founded a not-for-profit initiative called The Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creativity and Health which offers resources to local schools and charities in West Hertfordshire providing an experience of connecting to nature.
